Prayer the Answer

“Prayer is the answer to every problem in life. It puts us in tune with divine wisdom which knows to adjust everything perfectly. So often we do not pray in certain situations, because from our standpoint, the outlook is hopeless. But nothing is impossible with God. Nothing is so entangled that it cannot be remedied. No relationship is too strained for God to bring about reconciliation and understanding. No habit is too deep-rooted that it cannot be overcome. No one is so weak that he can not be made strong. No one is so ill that he cannot be healed. No mind so dull that it cannot be made brilliant. Whatever we need or desire, if we trust in God, He will supply it. If anything is causing worry or anxiety, let us stop rehearsing the difficulty and trust God for healing love and power.” EGW, R&H Oct. 7, 1865

GYC 2011

 Driving, driving, driving (82 hours round trip)
 Texas scenery
 Lunch on the road
 Navigation
 This foil sculpture made by my sister was the fruit of boredom after the before mentioned meal
 Special memories
Friends gathered for outreach
Nearing the end of our journey

Going to GYC was such a wonderful experience! This was our first year, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was blessed by the speakers' messages as well as spending time with friends. We just figured out this evening that we knew about 120 people there. Like-minded friends are such a blessing! Lord willing, we'll be at the next one in Seattle. I'm looking forward to it!

A New Year

A new year of your life now commences. A new page is turned in the book of the recording angel. What will be the record upon its pages? Shall it be blotted with the neglect of God, with unfulfilled duties? God forbid. Let the record be stamped there which you will not be ashamed to have revealed to the gaze of men and angels. {2T 268}
